The Redeemed One ("we", "us") runs theredeemedone.com, a Christian devotional, Bible study and faith-and-fitness website. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • You can read, study, pray and play on this site without an account.
  • Your prayer journal, study notes and game scores stay in your own browser unless you choose to turn on Sync My Progress.
  • We never sell your personal information.

Information you give us

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to reply to you.
  • Purchases: when you buy merchandise or a digital guide, our online store collects your name, email, billing details and, for physical items, your shipping address. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Member accounts: if you buy a paid guide such as Faith Fueled 52, we create a member account with your name, email and password so you can log in to your content.
  • Donations: your name, email and payment details are processed by our payment provider so we can receive your gift.

Information stored on your device

Our free tools save your progress in your own browser's storage. This includes the Prayer Journal, Bible Study Builder, Bible Reading Plan, Bible Quiz best scores, Bible Wordle stats and the Faith Fueled 52 tracker. That information stays on your device and is not sent to us, unless you turn on Sync My Progress. Clearing your browser data will erase it.

Sync My Progress

If you turn on Sync My Progress, the progress from those tools, including your prayer journal entries, is saved to our database, hosted by Supabase, so you can load it on another device.

  • Your data is linked only to the sync code you create. It isn't tied to your name or email.
  • We store a scrambled (hashed) version of your code, not the code itself, so we can't look it up or recover it if it's lost.
  • Anyone who has your code can load your synced data, so keep it private.
  • You can turn sync off at any time. To delete your synced data from our database, contact us with your sync code.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies that keep the site, cart, checkout and member logins working, and analytics cookies that tell us things like which pages are visited, what type of device is used and the approximate location (country or city). We use this only to understand and improve the site. You can manage cookies through the cookie banner, where shown, and in your browser settings.

How we use information

We use your information to run the site, process orders and deliver products, give you access to paid content, respond to your messages, keep the site secure and improve it.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run The Redeemed One:

  • Our website platform: hosting, store, checkout, member accounts and analytics
  • Our payment processors: card payments and donations
  • Printful: prints and ships merchandise, and receives your name, shipping address and order details
  • Supabase: stores synced progress, only if you turn sync on

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the site.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal reasons, and messages for as long as we need them to help you. Synced data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honour them.

Children

Our content is family-friendly, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. Purchases, member accounts and sync should be set up by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use secure (HTTPS) connections and trusted providers to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
